EDR.6 Loudenvielle, France

In a monumental year for Yeti Cycles, the Yeti / FOX and Yeti / Shimano EP Racing Teams claim both the Men’s Enduro and E-Enduro World Cup Overall titles.  Richie Rude locked in his fourth World Series overall title, and second back-to-back overall wins.  Ryan Gilchrist secured the overall season title for E-EDR, maintaining a commanding lead throughout the entirety of the season.  Both Sławomir Łukasik and JT Fisher claimed second in Elite Men’s and U21 respectively.  All this success granted Yeti Cycles the most successful season for any single brand in the history of Enduro.

ENDURO

Rain throughout the week created treacherous race conditions, rife with thick mud and free-flowing water on the steep and techy stages of Loudenvielle. Series leader Richie Rude tee’d up to secure the lead, so long as he staved off the competition for the final race.  And that he did, claiming the 2024 season victory for EDR. His fourth overall title, Rude adds the 2024 season to his stockpile of season victories, alongside 2023, 2016, and 2015.

“I guess I didn't expect the result this weekend, I was in third place going into the last stage. It was like a river the whole way down, and I was just like really feeling it.  I was going for it, and I was having a great time, and I got second place. I was really feeling it and I’m stoked on the result”
Richie Rude

Sławomir Łukasik and Charles Murray were left battling it out for second with one race to go.  Łukasik’s stage finishes bounced around all day, but it was a result good enough to retain the number two spot.

Men’s U21 Devo Rider JT Fisher concluded his breakout season with a P5 in Loudenvielle, and second place overall in the category. A stark improvement from his prior year, he now has his track speed and consistency locked in.

Fellow U21 rider Joe Millington rode his way to second place on the podium for the day.  A feather in his cap, as it was his best UCI World Cup result to date, and a strong finish to his U21 season.

E-ENDURO

“It is taking a little bit to sink in, so much hard work that accumulates to one day of racing.”
Ryan Gilchrist

The combination of Ryan Gilchrist’s unbridled focus and athletic prowess along with Shimano’s dedication to the team and drive unit resulted in an unbeatable combination for the 2024 season. All the pieces fell into place for the Yeti / Shimano EP Racing Team’s third year, with Gilchrist bringing home the E-Enduro World Cup Ovall win.

“It has been a very special season, finishing it off with the leaders is the icing on the cake. The team has been heavily invested since the beginning and it has been a three-year program and finally amounting to a win is absolutely massive.”
Ryan Gilchrist

DOWNHILL

Race after race, Tyler Waite continues his rapid climb up the ranks, this time earning himself a spot on the podium in P2.  Fraught with injury and recovery, Waite’s debut season with Yeti was not the one that anyone hoped for. However, he is proving he has the fortitude to overcome significant setbacks and come back at the top of his game.

This weekend’s result also marks a major milestone for Yeti Cycles Special Projects.  Waite was able to pilot the Special Projects DH Bike to a commanding second place, resulting in the DH Bike’s first ever podium in a UCI World Cup DH Race.  A solid debut season for the bike, and a first of many podiums to come.

Next up: The Yeti Team is en route to Canazei, Italy for the debut Enduro World Championships, where everyone will be vying for first ever individual Enduro Rainbow Stripes.
