Round six of the UCI Downhill World Cup dropped into Andorra, trading last week’s line-hunting technicality for a high-speed, high-commitment sprint. With one main line and nowhere to hide, the track demanded full-throttle precision from start gate to finish—putting riders head-to-head on nearly identical routes.
Junior standouts Tyler Waite and Jonty Williamson kept the momentum rolling. With forecasted electrical storms scrapping the Junior finals, qualifying results stood as final placements. Waite locked in P3, continuing his consistent push for the overall title.
Williamson wasn’t far behind, grabbing 7th in a stacked field. Heading into the break, Waite holds 2nd overall in the Junior Men’s standings, with Williamson in 6th.
In the Elite Women’s race, Camille Balanche gave it her all but couldn’t find the pace to challenge the leaders. A crash in her finals run sealed her day in 14th, but she holds strong in 4th overall heading into the break.
Richie Rude’s weekend wrapped early after placing 62nd in Q1 and 41st in Q2. Outside the finals cut in an ultra-tight field where only 2.2 seconds separated the top 20 riders in Q1.

With the mid-season break now in motion, the Yeti Elite and Junior squads reset and refocus for Les Gets at the end of August.
