Customer Service Associate

Seasonal Part-Time (3-month position with possible extension) |

Location: On-site Golden, CO

Schedule: 3 days per week, 4 hours per day (12 hours/week) 

OVERVIEW

Yeti Cycles is looking for an energetic, personable mountain biker to join our Customer Experience team. This is a generalist role: you will answer product and technical questions, enter and maintain orders, and support dealers and consumers across phone, email, and in person. Strong written and verbal communication, a solution-oriented mindset, and genuine enthusiasm for the sport are essential.

As a Customer Service Associate, you will handle returns and exchanges, assemble and ship registration kits, and manage inbound calls and emails. You will represent Yeti as a Ride Driven brand and help build lasting relationships with our dealers and riders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Process returns and exchanges.
  • Assemble and ship new registration welcome kits.
  • Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and voicemails within the same business day.
  • Guide consumers through the purchase process for Yeti bikes and apparel.
  • Enter and maintain customer and dealer orders.
  • Resolve technical and dealer questions directly or by routing them to the right resource.
  • Support a smooth ecommerce experience for web customers.
  • Flag web store issues (missing products, stock discrepancies, and similar) to your manager and IT.
  • Keep the customer pickup area orderly and ensure every visitor has a positive experience at Yeti.
  • Assist with overflow from the Factory Demo program.
  • Continue learning about product trends, technology, and business systems, including Microsoft 365 and SYSPRO.
  • Collaborate as part of a team and be willing to both learn from and teach others.

QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, & KEY ATTRIBUTES
  • Experience selling or servicing mountain bikes.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Golden, CO headquarters.
  • Knowledge of Yeti Cycles culture, local trails, technology, selling points, and price points.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, owning assigned tasks.
  • Strong time management and the ability to stay calm while delivering excellent service.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A service- and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to resolve contentious matters quickly and professionally.
  • Flexibility and empathy.
  • Experience with an ERP system is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Yeti Cycles is a ride-driven company. Everything we do revolves around building the best bikes in the world. The environment is relaxed but high functioning: dogs wander the building, bikes line the hallways, and there is always good coffee in the morning and hoppy beer in the evening.

This role pays $18–20 per hour. We also offer a discounted gym membership and a one-time credit for apparel.
