50 is the new 30, right? Born and raised in the hart of the Colorado mountains, Mike has been involved in cycling from it's earliest days. Starting with his early roots in Crested Butte, where he was born, to the first worlds in Durango, where he grew up, Mike has always been in the thick of the sport. Now, as the years turn to decades, Mike continues to seek new races and even greater adventures around the globe! He insists there is no better way to stay young than traveling AT HIGH SPEEDS on two wheels!

What is your first memory on a bike?

Flying down the hills of CB through a glow of orange and yellow aspen leaves.

Best feeling on a bike?

Those day that are effortless... being in the zone where every line feels like a powder line.

What is your biggest source of inspiration outside of mountain biking? Why?

Older athletes in any discipline that can still have fun, help outers and still get after it when the time is right!
