The Cavity
Frame storage stashes tools, tubes, snacks, or extra layers, keeping them out of your pockets or pack, and moving the weight low where it works. The bulkhead and frame bag keep things snug inside.

MEET THE TRUE DEFINITION OF PARADOX. THE MT MAKES SPEED FEEL SLOW. IT LETS YOU GET AWAY WITH GETTING CARRIED AWAY. YOU’LL FIND YOUR LIMITS BEFORE YOU FIND ITS LIMITS. TELL YOUR SKEPTICISM THE ANSWER IS SIXFINITY. BELIEVE IT OR DON’T.
The MT uses the magic of Sixfinity’s six-bar design to reward speed in ways that no bike in this “category” can even consider. This is innovation built on franchise learnings for zero performance bummer. Ignore all preconceptions and let it run.

A 27.5 aluminum mule, built on the SB66 and SB95 tube set, machined and built in house and ridden on our local trails, this platform provided a proof of concept for our new kinematic theories. Both pedal and eMTB variants were created, which proved to be invaluable as Yeti approached our first eMTB offerings with the 160e.
In 2019, we then applied the progressive geometry that Yeti helped pioneer with our SB130 and SB150 and cut a carbon mold to further test Sixfinity. Our goals included testing the platform on 29” trail-bike applications and continue to explore tunability.
While alloy mules are quick to develop, we chose to cut a carbon fiber mold so we could better understand the nuanced balance of stiffness, strength, and weight that more closely represents what we would experience in a production version.
When Richie Rude let us know he wanted to get back to World Cup DH, we rallied around him and the Engineering team designed and built the first Special Projects DH bike using Sixfinity. There is no better test than World Cup racing. Over the next few seasons, the Special Projects DH platform brought us back to DH with multiple podiums and a UCI DHI World Series berth for the Yeti / FOX Factory Program.
After the commercial and performance success we realized with the 160e and DH Special Project bikes, along with our continued commitment to Sixfinity with MTe and LTe, the decision was made to take Sixfinity to our next generation of pedal trail and enduro bikes. Before production bike designs began, we wanted to test new ideas. The “Super mule” allowed us to test a wide variety of leverage rates, 6 different rear center lengths, various bottom bracket heights, head angles, and reach.
Today’s MT was the essential foundation of our first super-stealth test mule for Sixfinity back in 2016. Over countless iterations, endless tweaks and multiple full-carbon mules, as we obsessed to get Sixfinity perfect, the MT was being perfected too. The result is a bike that’s beyond strong in every kind of terrain. Worth a ten-year effort? Go fast and see.

Customize the poppy and lively essence of MT to match your desired ride feel. You can tune progressivity between three distinct leverage rates, all with the flip of a chip, and all while preserving geometry, anti-squat and anti-rise.

Beyond the boundlessness of Sixfinity, the MT brings a new collection of features that make this bike easy to love. Leveling up our iconic Trail line wasn't easy, but there’s nothing mid about the MT.

The MT is only available in our top-tier Turq series carbon. Purpose-driven to be lighter than light while never losing sight of stronger than strong, it’s built on an optimized schedule of high-performance, high modulus carbon. For impact resistance, stiffness where you need it and durability. All with a fatigue-reducing flex profile that hushes trail vibration.

With a stiff chassis and floating collet bearings and optimized load distribution, the pivot bearings last multiple "ridden hard and put away wet" sessions before service is needed.

Sixfinity isn’t the only thing that helps the MT destroy preconceptions. Its geometry is the epitome of refinement for performance, made possible by direct experience testing prototype after prototype until all doubt was in the dust. Resulting in unmatched stability and climbing traction with longer, size-specific chainstays, increased stack and longer reach for winning speed and rider balance in every kind of terrain. It's one thing to say “zero compromise.” It’s another thing to deliver it. The MT is the other thing.

LONGER, SIZE-SPECIFIC CHAINSTAYS.
Longer chainstays for each frame size work to optimize front/rear balance, improve stability and boost climbing performance. And if you think this might F its agility, we invite you to Go Fast and See.
INCREASED STACK
MT’s increased stack height puts riders in a more neutral position, ready to match the bike's rowdy, playful nature with added comfort and control when the trail points downhill. But we balanced that higher stack with the ability for riders to dial in their preferred position, resulting in the perfect blend of a modern yet aggressive fit.
ADJUSTABLE REACH
For riders looking to personalize frame reach without the complexity and downsides, aftermarket headset cups are the answer. The MT is designed around the ZS44/56 headtube standard and features integrated alignment notches for proper cup positioning.
