Gotta be the ASR! It’s my race bike and I just think a proper XC/Downcountry bike is the right bike for most rides. Get to the top faster for more dh fun, and not muting the trail with too much suspension or grip keeps the local trails fun and challenging. 2 bottle spots means I can ride farther as well!

My very first memory would be 24hours of Moab way back in the day, I was maybe 5?. My parents used to do it with their friends in a team of 4, and the day before there was a kids race. I took 2nd out of what felt like 1000 kids and then watched my parents rip some night laps and crushed some S’mores. Good times!

There's a trail in my hometown of Ogden called skyline trail, its about a 2-3 hour climb to get up there, so it mostly only motos you see up there and filters out much of the crowd. The portion of trail heading North toward the North Ogden Divide from Lewis Peak allows views of both the East and West sides of the Wasatch. If you can time your descent with a good sunset and a good playlist and a dialed bike, and being a little bit cracked from the 4000’ climb, it really doesn’t get much better.

I respect and find inspiration from anyone who goes all in on anything. I think building something from scratch using your expertise and taking an entrepreneurial risk to do so is really inspiring. I really like to cook, so someone like Jules Wiringa comes to mind, he has a Youtube channel where he shares michelin quality cooking recipes that he’s developed and if you go far back enough on his channel you can find him making the same high quality stuff with a crappy camera in a small apartment, but he always stayed true to his craft and didn’t sell out and start making more approachable stuff once he got big, the cooking and the art still comes before the audience and I think that is inspiring.
