La Thuile
La Thuile, Italy
The UCI Downhill World Cup made its debut in La Thuile, Italy, and with it came the steepest track in series history—a brutal 28% average gradient across 2.3km of alpine terrain. Yeti / FOX Factory riders battled through ever-changing conditions and high-pressure moments with Camille Balanche and Tyler Waite both securing top-five finishes in their respective fields.

Junior Men: Waite on the Podium, Williamson Close Behind
Yeti’s junior squad continues to impress in 2025. Tyler Waite placed P3, adding another World Cup podium to his growing resume. Waite was fastest through the bottom split and carried speed in all the right places on one of the toughest tracks of the season. His result keeps him ranked 2nd overall heading into the next round.
Jonty Williamson followed closely behind with a solid 6th place finish, showing consistency and control on a course that forced mistakes from even the most seasoned riders. He now sits 6th overall in the standings.

Elite Women: Camille Balanche Cracks the Top 5
Camille Balanche powered through a wildly physical course to claim 5th place in the Elite Women’s field, showcasing both speed and resilience.

“The track was sick and definitely suited me, the bike felt good, the weather was perfect, and the speed was there. Just can’t put it together on race day. My run was wild, and I made too many mistakes—definitely gutted but still in on my feet to keep pushing 🤷🏽♀️.”- Camille Balanche.

Camille’s top-five result solidifies her position as 4th overall in the standings.
Elite Men: Mechanical Ends Rude’s Run
Richie Rude's weekend was cut short with a front flat in qualifying. Rude is keen and feeling confident heading into Andorra.
