‘26 EDR MIDSEASON TEAM RECAP 

Five races. Five unique venues, testing racers in a new way each week.. From staggeringly high-speed stages of Loudenvielle to the brutal, high-altitude terrain of Aletsch Arena, Switzerland. The first rounds of 2026 EDR Calander demanded consistency, patience, and outright speed. Through changing weather, marathon liaison days, mechanical setbacks, and some of the longest race weekends on the calendar, the Yeti / FOX Factory Team continued to prove why it's one of the strongest programs in the paddock. 

Slawomir Łukasik remained firmly in the hunt for the overall title with another string of front-running performances, JT Fisher continued to show the pace that makes him one of the sport's brightest young talents, and Ryan Gilchrist steadily built momentum before breaking through with the biggest victory of his World Cup EDR career. 

The season opened in the Pyrenees with classic Loudenvielle conditions—long, physical stages that rewarded those whose precision and line choice matched outright aggression. JT Fisher and Ryan Gilchrist came out swinging. Both riders showed they have the speed and started the season with career-best finishes. 

The opening round reinforced the depth of talent on the Yeti / FOX Factory program and set the tone for the races to come.

Slawomir Łukasik - 36th 

Leogang delivered one of the toughest weekends of the season, combining steep natural terrain with relentless physical stages that punished even small mistakes. 

Łukasik once again rode at the front, adding another elite win to his career. His consistency has become one of the defining stories his career, banking points while others struggled with crashes and mechanicals. 

Ryan Gilchrist continued to find speed throughout the weekend, finishing inside the top-ten. 

JT Fisher's weekend unfortunately ended early after a crash on stage one. While the result wasn't representative of his pace, it became another painful reminder of how unforgiving World Cup EDR racing can be.

JT Fisher - DNF 

The Dolomites delivered one of the biggest endurance tests on the calendar. Massive elevation, rough terrain, and constantly changing conditions rewarded riders who could stay composed over an exceptionally long race weekend. 

Łukasik demonstrated why he's become one of the benchmark riders in modern enduro, putting together another front-running performance that strengthened his position in the overall standings. His ability to stay consistently near the front, regardless of terrain or conditions, continues to separate him from much of the field. 

JT Fisher continued his return to form, showing impressive stage speed throughout the weekend. Although the final result didn't fully reflect the pace he displayed, it was another step forward in building confidence against the world's best. 

Ryan Gilchrist also delivered another solid points-scoring ride, continuing to quietly assemble one of the most consistent stretches of his World Cup career heading into the next rounds.

La Thuile's alpine stages demanded commitment from the first turn to the last, culminating in a dramatic night stage to finish the race. The night stage vibes were incredible, helping fans see racers up close and personal. I know i would like to see more of this in the future. 

JT Fisher bounced back after his DNF in Leogang with a huge 5th place finish. As this season progresses, Fisher builds on each race, attacking every stage with tenacity. He has positioned himself at the sharp end of the field, while continuing to develop and gain experience. 

Łukasik remained firmly among the race favorites, once again delivering the kind of performance that has defined his season and kept him squarely in the championship battle. 

Gilchrist added another composed ride to his season. This 18th place wasn’t what he was hoping for, but heads into the rest of the season with lessons learned.

Everything came together in Switzerland. 

Across four demanding days of racing through some of the most spectacular and unforgiving terrain on the calendar, Ryan Gilchrist delivered the ride of his career, claiming his first-ever UCI EDR victory. Staying calm through changing conditions and executing stage after stage with remarkable consistency, Gilchrist finally stood atop the podium, marking a milestone victory for both himself, the Yeti / FOX Factory Race Team and the all-new Yeti LT. 

Łukasik once again delivered a championship-caliber performance, collecting another haul of critical points that kept him firmly in contention for the overall title as the series heads into its closing rounds. Throughout this season his consistency proved every bit as valuable as outright wins. 

JT Fisher rounded out another weekend of gaining momentum, continuing to build speed and experience against the deepest field in the sport. This season has been a breakout season for JT, his pace throughout the rounds has showed exactly why he's considered one of enduro's rising stars.
