Partnership & Event Specialist

General Summary:
The Partnership & Event Specialist will report to Marketing Leadership and work closely with the Yeti Brand Marketing team to manage and support Yeti Cycles Partnerships & Events. This role is responsible for Yeti’s event & advocacy relationships including competition, non-profit, and community event activations and relationships. The ideal candidate has a passion for mountain biking and the outdoor industry, enjoys collaborating with others and has a zest for being in the field and representing the Yeti brand in the community.
This position will work cross-functionally between Yeti Brand Marketing initiatives in support of Yeti Cycles brand strategies, goals and objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
Partnerships & Non-profits
- Maintain solid understanding of local, regional and national events and advocacy community and opportunities.
- Lead day-to-day communication with advocacy & non-profit relationships, while working to connect with their schedule of events, fundraisers and projects.
- Manage and execute product fulfillment in a timely manner to fulfill advocacy & non-profit sponsorships.
- Ensure all partnership & non-profit commitments are met.
- Represent Yeti at key trail building, community and advocacy events.
Events
- Planning: Creating and organizing event schedules and selecting sites for Yeti Cycles Trade events & Gatherings working with our internal and external partners.
- Logistics: Owner of annual Brand Marketing event calendar. Organize schedules, prepare venues and coordinate with vendors
- Contracts: Negotiate contracts with events, producers and contractors.
- Event Production: Manage on-site preparations, production and breakdown.
- Promotion: Work with Brand Marketing and Digital team to facilitate communication strategy to support and promote Yeti events and Yeti partner events.
- Work with the Marketing leadership to determine annual event selection while connecting to larger product, athlete, and community strategies.
- Understand event details thoroughly and coordinate internal staff support well in advance for events.
- Partner with Sales and Demo teams on select activations.
- Execute Yeti event sponsorships working with Customer Service team to facilitate the delivery of all sponsorship commitments related to event and advocacy partnerships.
Annual budgeting and fiscal management for Event & Partnership programs
- Work with Brand Marketing leadership to develop annual budget for Events & Partnerships that aligns with department and company goals and strategies.
- Manage budget to actuals and provide quarterly progress reports with YTD actuals.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3+ years of related Marketing, team and/or Event & Partnership management.
- Strong writing, communication and negotiating skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, in person, on the phone and in writing with prompt responses.
- Capable of working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
- Passion for mountain biking, racing, building community and diversity within Mountain Biking.
- Willingness to travel 20-40% of the year – Domestic & International depending on events schedule.
- A valid passport.
- Clean driving record, ability to drive company vehicles.

Compensation Range: $55,000-65,000k Annually – depending on experience.
